Spending All Of Eternity
The last I saw was a bright light,
I had the feeling of a stab.
I awoke in pain and looked around.
I was layed out on a stone slab.
Any hopes of seeing anything died,
Darkness had swollowed anything that was.
Although again and again I tried, I couldn't make out anything that was.
Then it hit me stronger than hell
And I couldn't do anything to stop it.
It was a horrible, fatal smell,
And so strong it was a taste.
I tried to puke but could not
And I at last had complete understanding.
I was not myself nor anyone at all.
I was an essence and nothing more.
Whatever I was or am is nothing,
And I realized that upon the stone floor.
Death this was I would be here forever,
In a land where logic meant nothing.
I was no longer a person but like a ghostly being.
I had no body only a mind- but a person in life couldn't grasp it never.
Why was there fire but I wasn't hot?
I was dead beyond all godly hope.
So this is how I spend forever.
I have to live in this hellish exsistance.
And could I leave? Not ever.
I hope I get used to this.
