lived, live, living:
Each day becomes a night
fought, fight, fighting:
Yet they yearn for peaceful light
screamed, scream, screaming:
They grope through the darkened sight
feared, fear, fearing:
For no return of a morning bright
cried, cry, crying:
As they vanish, one by one
knew, know, knowing:
That hell's games had just begun
fell, fall, falling:
When the blindness makes them run
died, die, dying:
Before the night is even done
And when day breaks,
there is nothing left:
nobody, none
