Meaning of My Tears
Silent tears rolling down my face
Carrying with them pain and
frustration
Slowly, but surely my loneliness from deep within
is coming to the surface
I try and try to keep it in, but the misery and guilt are to powerful to be kept a secret
One, Two, Three, Four...
Each tear represents a month, or perhaps a year
That was filled with desperation and sorrow
A tear stands for heartache and failure
Or fear and jealousy
Every tear has a different meaning,
A different reason to fall from my eyes
Each tear stands for a moment in my life
Where times were rough, almost unbearable
I felt too weak to go on, or didn't see a better side
But these tears also show how far I have come
Conquered many obstacles, Crossed many bridges
Tears are more than salty water
They release emotions, Capture memories and tell many stories
