Save the trees
Where are the trees, that gave us shade?
Where are the trees, that we love to play in?
Where are the trees, that we use to lay in?
Where are the trees, that is our home?
They are gone, someone took them away.
They are gone, we have no more shade.
They are gone, we no longer play.
They are gone, we no longer lay.
Where have the gone, those loveable trees?
Who has taken them, we miss them dearly.
Why must we be left, with nothing but dust?
The trees are gone.
The hunters have come.
Us squirrels and tree critters hide a chitter.
Our lovable house, the one we call home.
Has been taken away, what can I say?
We have nothing to say for you can not here us.
We have nothing to do, you left us defenseless.
Our forest, our trees, don't take them please.
We need you to understand.
These trees are our life, our home, and our protection.
Don't take them away for we can't live without them.
It might be your job to take them away,
but think of what you would say,
if we took yours away.
Please, please take pity on us,
and leave us with more than just sawdust.
