Everyone Wants To Be A Writer
Everyone wants to be a writer.
It is an observation I have made time and time again.
Everyone has a story to tell
A song to write
A sonnet, a verse, a narrative to yell
So sing it, so scream it
So yell it, from canyons and crags
Make the mountaintops tremble with your voice
Let it be awesome
Let the power shake the pillars of the earth
Don’t let anything keep you from challenging the world
With your truth
Which belongs only to you
To the brave, to the strong, stay ever true.
Put it out there
You never know who will love it
Who will exonerate it
Who will hate it
Who will give up the battle to be vile
And appreciate it
So sing it, write it, scream it
Let it be free and let it be you.
Because everyone wants to be a writer
But only you can write this
Your story belongs to one person-
You.
