Invisible
I hold my breath
When you come around
I can’t see very far
Through the rain falling down
You hold the key
To every inch of my heart
Even though it feels
As if I’m only falling apart
But I’m addicted to this pain
That you inflict on me
I try to make you understand
But you can never see
All I am to you
Is just another girl
Who you’ll never get to know
And see inside my world
If you knew who I really was
Maybe you wouldn’t feel this way
I want to make you understand
There’s so much I want to say
I can see the truth in your eyes
I can almost feel your pain
But most of the time it’s hard to think
Because of this acid rain
In your arms is where I belong
But you will never see
That as long as I remain invisible
My heart won’t be complete
