Freedom

and life

and joy

and music

on every corner.

As I stroll

the bouncing streets

I find

at every turn

a beat

a song

a soul.

I wrote this about New Orleans (where some of my family lives)and I would like to dedicate it to Katie and Michael.

I like this for many reasons as well as your other poems.  I like how you brought your poem to life and used a different format. Great job!

So cool, I totally relate (although I have never been to New Orleans), anyway, love this poem!
