Key to Your Heart
The sun shines bright
Yet my world is dark
Where can I find the light?
Maybe somewhere in your heart
But how can I when you lock me out?
As I sit here, nothing to do
I hope you might call me, or give me a shout
Why, of all people am I invisible to you?
How can I make myself heard and seen?
Do I have to be like the others, all pouty and mean?
Or can I still be the same old different me?
Please tell me how to get to your heart
How and where do I get the key?
