Nothing I Remember
This world I try not to see.
The room I dismiss as real.
And what I fear,
It can’t be true.
What I see,
Can’t possibly be in me.
It’s not in you.
You’re,
NOT,
Infected too.
I do not miss,
What I haven’t loss.
And if I cry,
I cry a sea for things never there,
And never gone.
You used to smile.
That was a fantasy too.
Do you listen to the lies?
The lies that do not lie deep inside of you?
My head now burns.
From a fever that’s never hit.
Sickness worthy of amnesia,
That we do not pretend.
The truth remains.
The past is unchanged.
I remember because,
It’s impossible to forget,
And,
I’ll never admit it.
It’s bad….
Thou shall not lie!
I do not lie.
Do I?
Do you?
No.
Memories I do not have,
Make me forget,
Me,
And you.
And absolutely,
No one.
