Changing Faces
The ex-convict was a red-handed assassin,
He lazily walked through the street,
Amongst the dead silence was a bang from a open window
Oh no. Bang. Oh no.
The convict had prayed and reformed over the years,
It pained him to hear one hit and beat
For nothing and he lost it altogether:
Barged into the ominous building.
He ran up the stairs,
Eyes flaming,
Heart pulsing
Feet bouncing until he reached the room
It was his neighbor beating an old man,
And so great his anger that he,
Without thinking: defenestrated his neighbor
