Fell
Far From The Tree
Like a chicken learning to fly,
The child jumped out of his nest.
He wanted to be just like his father,
Unlike a shark leaving her eggs to die,
Father always looked after the little chick
Every breakfast, he looked at Dad with pride,
Then as soon as the baby chick grew in age
He saw that he was unlike his role model
The teen didn’t want to be that utopia
So he swapped nests and found
A passion, fun and full of light
Unlike his perfect Purell
He was happy falling far from the tree even though he never
Knew he would be in that situation as a infant.
