tell me i'm beautiful
look at me, devour me with your eyes
because i could lose myself, staring in your eyes
i could forget where i am, what i’m thinking,
when i look at you
and i want you to look at me that way too.
i want you to lose yourself in my skin, all that pale beauty
that has seen too little sun in its time.
i want you to run your hands through my hair,
over my shoulders and down the small of my back,
pulling me a little closer with those beautiful muscled arms.
i want you to touch your mouth to mine, so i can feel
the smile on your lips, not just see it
and so that you can feel mine too.
i want you to look in my eyes, my big blue eyes
that see too much and too little
and see you just fine.
i want you to look into my eyes and maybe
you will see a bit of my soul before i glance down
and you tip my chin up, and for a moment
we just look at each other.
and i want you to give me that special smile of yours,
and i want you to lean down,
so close i can feel your breath in my ear
and i want you to tell me, just me,
that i am beautiful.
