&quot;I&#039;d rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I&#039;m not&quot; <br /> &quot;Somewhere betweeen us talking, you saying I deserve better, and you making me laugh when I wanted to cry, I fell in love with you.&quot;

When you look at me what do you see
Do you see a normal happy teenager
Or can you see deeper
Do you see all the lies
All the pain I’ve tried to cover
All the things that you are starting to discover
I’ve lived with for so many years
All the tears I’ve cried through the years
Are enough to fill an ocean
I try to keep it all inside
But when I’m alone
I let all of it go
Everything comes out
The pain the lies
Everything that I’ve tried to hide
I let everything go

The author's comments:
I wrote this because at one point I tried to hold everything in that was going on in my life. When I let everything go I felt alot better.

&quot; This much I know is true That God blessed the broken road That led me straight to you&quot;-Rascal Flatts

This reminds me of my poem Take Another Look. Good job!
