Too many needless cases
of auto mutilation
Too many people
enduring suffocation
To love after loving
the feeling a dull excruciation
To drop down, to sink through our balance beam
dying to get to our haven, emaciation
We are broken and disturbed
suffering from our own desperation
To sacrifice the same flesh
scarring our shell, burning humiliation
Lost, dying, worsening,
no sensation, no expectations, no beautification
Pure exhilaration
Don't slip away
