DON'T STOP
Run, little one, run
From the monsters with loving faces
Don't stop until you reach his arms
Run until the land ends its path
And you can no longer see the glint
Of their claws that rip your heart
Flee child
To the safety of the dark
Where the true father awaits you
Don't let their hateful lies
Slow you down
Turn your eyes toward the sunset
And pray that his voice
Will guide you home
Don't stop until you reach the end
Of the volcanic road that scars
Your tired and sore feet
What awaits you is salvation
Turn your eyes away
From the monster behind
And move with frightened certainty
Towards the one
Who truly loves you
