The Twinkle of His Eyes

His eyes twinkle in the night.
His hair so bright.
His personality so bold,
with the stories he told.
Up in Heaven he rose,
received a halo that glowed.
His soul became pure, very white and sure.
What a great man he was on Earth.
Now Heaven is his new birth.
So every night I look up at the stars,
and looking down at me, is the twinkle of his eyes.
