who i want to be
i see a model and think, i would like to be like her.
i spend all my days fixing my hair, applying inches of make-up, and spending all my money on designer brands.
i see a homeless musician on the side of the road,
her music is like sunshine.
i see people leaving tips,
this person is now who i want to be.
wait, i see a woman pushing a stroller.
inside the stroller, i see a pair of big blue eyes and soft white-blonde hair.
the baby is who i want to be.
i'm not comfortable in my own skin,
til someone tells me how great i am.
