Red, White, And Blue
Two men with dark green suits on
metals attached to their jackets,
they went to pull the flag
down for the night,
Down…
Down…
Down…
It goes they both start to feel
flexible, they wave in the wind,
their skin turning from delicate tan
to bright red, white, and blue
Hearing a “DING, DING, DING” from a
Metal clip hitting the flag pole in the wind,
I’m our country, I’m our flag.
