Twilight Fangirls
There they are.
They’re watching me.
I feel very conscious.
They won’t stop staring.
At me.
Shoot.
It seems like every girl
Has Robert Pattison on her chest.
Only I
Do not have “Team Edward”
Emblazoned across my back.
I’m tired of the hoodies
That the girls wear halfway on.
Their sleeves on their arms
Walking like mummies.
Is it because I’m a girl?
Should I have someone on my chest?
To heck with that.
The only thing I’m wearing
Is my summer reading t-shirt.
The curly letters look cool though.
I can remember
When every girl was reading it.
‘I hate reading’ they said.
‘Books are confusing.’
Then they had a book on their desks
The size of a brick.
Maybe bigger.
I shouldn’t have mocked them
But I couldn’t help it.
So he sparkles.
Big deal.
If they want sparkles
Ouran Host Club is the place for them.
Stupid body glitter wearing vampires.
I’m all alone
In a crazy fangirl world.
I miss Harry Potter.
