Thunder or Lightning
Is it thunder or is it lightning
Is it the rain pouring down as his lips touch mine?
He makes me heart race and my soul soar
I question him and he reciprocates
I’ve never felt this way
I think he knows
He sees the cartwheels in my eyes
And the hop in my step
The courage, the light, the yearn
He gives me it all
“She‘s just not a normal girl,” he says
His eyes are shining as he pictures all their dreams
One day they’ll be together
They have that hope in common
They’ll run away
Go to Ireland, Germany
Every place they have ever considered
Their lives always cross paths
It is God’s way of telling them something
It’ll all play out one day
His plan never fails
These two hearts are destined
