I Can Hear
Six years have gone by,
with so many words left unsaid,
with so many words still heard.
Can you hear them whispering?
Whispering to me.
I can hear you now.
Your image seems faded, until the keys offer subtle reminders.
On that cold day, I wrote to you from the heart of a child.
So young, not fully capable of understanding.
I have grown up now.
No longer a child, forced to become something no person should.
Six years have gone by, with countless more to come.
For now, the keys offer subtle reminders.
I can hear you now.
