She waits.
Admiring the older mountains beyond
advanced landscapes of beautiful age.
Imagining transitions of fall to winter, spring to summer,
from scenes of dusk to dawn.
She waits.
For the swan to sit upon a pond,
where crystallized diamonds glisten from bright rays,
turning into reflections of a night sky.

Falling leaves of multi-colors descend,
settling down atop a sea of blades.

White sheets cover sleeping spread,
Waking with shifting intervals
Exposing prints left behind.
.
Creation of lively blooms,
Give away the morphing of land.
The vernal sun shines into verano
Revealing an unstoppable cycle.

Yet she waits,
Experiencing continuous spinning circles
that shift within one another,
Control is an inability,
Therefore she simply waits!

The author's comments:
People are continously waiting for things to happen in life, and they usually don't have control over when they happen. The inspiration that drew me to write this was the thought of a girl waiting for an incredible event to unfold, but she didn't have any way of making it happen any quicker. I used the nature around her as a metaphor to her inability to make it happen.
