Appearance
I would like my body to be thinier.
I would like my muscles to be well-shaped
And to be smaller or taller.
I would like myself to be attractive.
Maybe have curly brown hair
Or long blond ones.
I would like my skin to be tanned
And to look healthy all the time.
But I just can't get out of my body.
And if people look at me and only see
A marble sculpture whose painture doesn't hide the shapes.
Then the problem isn't me.
It's them.
We've been created with love
but without plans
Sometimes we dislike ourselves
For some decisions we take
But we are still us
And there is no zipper
Helping us disappear.
We just have to face the facts
That we are what we are.
And that the only part we can change is the inside of the sculpture
By putting silver instead of iron.
