White Lights
White walls, White floor, White Clothes,
How am I supposed to get better,
White is everywhere, consumes everything, no escape
Feeling better takes time, they tell me,
But I can only focus on the white, that blinding white,
The only sanity comes when I close my eyes,
My world consumed in darkness, I feel at peace,
If only for a little, I know the consequence of opening my eyes,
But I try and I try, and eventually I feel better,
I was cured, I guess, Maybe there is some truth,
Hospitals really do help sick people get better.
