A New Beginning
I saw you through a foggy window
Somewhere on the eastern shore
In a cathedral filled with saintly relics
I knelt to pray, to beg, to plead
That something would take this pain from me
You walked away and I did, too...
From everything I ever knew...I ever loved
I moved away to find my face
I ran away from all the pain
So relentlessly falls the rain...
When you're lonely and cold inside
I'm a stranger here; they don't know my name
But I'll stay because I can't turn back
