The Color of Lost Faith
Underneath his feet
The land crumbles
Swirling cosmos crash together
With sickening color
In the foot prints
Pools of silver remain
He leaves behind the safety
He once knew
As he looks into the emptiness
Voices rush all around him
Some speak love
Others speak hate
Encouragement or threats
Echo in the pale voices
As something inside cracks
The heart within rots away
Poison burns his innocent veins
He doesn't stop
His bleeding feet continue to move
There is something terrible behind
Something to be feared
Even as his body loses
All it once knew
He won't stop
Until he finds the truth
