Skin Deep
There is no difference between you and I,
We are all men we hurt…we cry,
Beaten down…thrown away,
All are equal…all must stay,
When I see you, I see no color,
I will love you, be your brother,
Selfish notions of the skin,
To be different is a sin,
And though we are different you and I,
I will make you happy… no more sighs,
Though the journey is ruff and steep,
We bear no difference, it is merely skin deep.
