Trees

I find myself staring at the manifestation of deforestation.
We forget the fruit of thorough action, which these trees bear.
The old, gnarled trees are taken for granted, ignored.
Without the growth of widsom, the world would not have gotten this far.

I attempt to fill my mind and this paper whith words as deep as the ocean.
Some argue about the trees of thoughts, knowledge, and wisdom.
Without cellular resperation life on earth would be a near idea.
Without the growth of widsom, the world would not have gotten this far.

Just like knowledge, trees are scattered around town.
The paper made from trees spreads the knowledge that you read.
Young saplings crowd each other, competing for the sun.
But wisdom grows only with the tree of thought.
Without the growth of widsom, the world would not have gotten this far.

I thought that this poem was extremly touching to the heart about trees. the simile's that the author uses are touching like when she comments on "I attempt to fill my mind and this paper with word's as deep as the ocean." The one mistake that i saw that the author made is the they spelled with wrong they spelled it "whith" the correct spelling is with. The author uses vived word's like "manifestation" other then that i loved your poem.
