The Sirens Ring.
Bullet reverberations twitch, sketch emotions to my face.
The girl in the back is ringing the telephone as fast as she can
Even though I am the one who should be drenched in fear
Point blank, the pistol pushes forward
My muscles turn jumpy, I dive, I dive with a speed
Nerves split ends, our thoughts wind.
When my pistol presses on his temple.
The register rings, the papers crackle shoots through my mind like a lovely voice
But then with the wink of an eye
In this fast motion haze
The man starts pulling up his own gun
I fire, the bullets pierce, his body falls
He should have kept his hands down
My weapon turns, the crowd breaks, my body follows.
I dash out of the building, and no one follows.
The sirens ring and I ignore
The sirens ring and I ignore
The sirens ring and I am gone.
