Invisible
Invisible
As the sun turns dull, I shine through shadows,
wondering what went wrong.
My salt water tears stream,
making the need for warmth greater.
I cry to humanity; though, my invisibility still lingers.
My presence is only but an absence
in this world of hate.
There must be bliss somewhere…
Will you save me from his Hell?
I am tired of hurting, hiding in this anguish.
If I left forever, not a soul would recognize.
I know that life isn’t promised
As I gape through the only thing that keeps me, and this world separate,
I realize my existence was never Heaven sent.
