A Violent Disaster
There has been a change in the atmosphere.
One dreaded disaster… tornado.
The sirens sound, our bare feet run down the stairs seeking shelter
In the deepest and safest parts of our homes.
The roaring winds rattle our home.
Bits and pieces of our favorite memories are torn to shreds
Things from our surroundings are thrown in every direction.
A catastrophe we hoped would never happen.
We have lost large portions of that hope.
Forever, was pulled right from under our feet.
Then we shed a tear, weeping, sobbing, crying.
It is not the end,
The people who care,
Put all the little pieces back together.
Read between the lines,
And you find the sadness of a broken love.
In the end,
Someone special cares,
And love makes its way to a new life.
