Dove.
Do we ever really love?
Or is it a fantasy?
Do we ever find partners,
Who can fill our dreams?
Are we simple things
Who need shelter and comforting?
Or are we complex beings
Who find love in almost everything.
I am just another girl
Waiting for the world
For a guy to fall for me
Call me his baby
He must realize it's me
Inside as the woman he loves
Pieces of dove
Striving above
I am everything
That I ever will be
I am everything
He should want in me
Doesn't he ever see
He's my baby
I'm his lady
Is love ever really
Real to us?
Do we find one person
Who knows us?
Are we fools to believe
Or so smart to fear?
Are we humans?
Do we look like deer?
Am I a stupid child
To believe in love
To see the movies
And wish that I was that
Dove
Dove
The one who can fly away
The one who can find their mate
Who has everything
A blanket of white
They deserve
Fruit for desert
A love which cannot hurt
