Colorblind
I use to see the world through a kalidescope
So many bright colors
And nothin was more new
As i grew up
Those colors started to fade
To just blues, reds, and greens
There was no assortment anymore
Just those three
Then more time passed
And understanding hit me
And those three colors changed again
to black,grey, and white
No more newness and inncoence
But a cold hard dull sight
I see you now
And i all i see are the colors that had once left me
You lightened my world
And saved me from being colorblind.
