Just Like People
The moonlight shimmies through my window.
I pull the curtains and gaze at the view.
The light glows softly, like a streetlamp.
I open the window and let the soft glow overtake me.
I gaze at the moon once again and sigh.
How can something so beautiful be forgotten?
The moon sits there in the sky giving no answers.
So mysterious yet silent,
Glowing yet unnoticed…
