Torn Apart
We tore this to pieces
Now a faded destiny awaits us
A cruel fate dealt us a bad hand
Existence isn’t the key
Making our existence known, is
No more standing in shadowed corners
No more whispering to imaginations
We are her now
The rays of sunshine know of our aching
The clouds aid our affectionate grieving
But dawn still comes as no promise
But I promise to be here when the light is
Nowhere near.
