Buenos Aires: A Lie
That smell of heat and people, drifting from the streets below
Bringing with it the city’s dank musky smell
A cool breeze kisses lightly my cheeks
And leaning over the balcony
I throw a quarter and watch it fall
Twisting in the loving yet lying wind
Dancing to its collision with destiny
With earth
With Buenos Aires
