There Are Raindrops on the Windows and Petals in the Sky
There are raindrops on the windows and petals in the sky
There are raindrops on the windows and petals in the sky
(Upward rays of rain on clouds)
Minute hour day week
They fall from his hand they tell his story.
Raindrops and Dewdrops (both short and long)
Sparkled and sang until his dawn
They spoke his mind they found his laugh
Ocean stream hilltop planes
The forest slept (but not for long for soon
his awakened eyelids fall
Minute hour day week)
Through his heart’s drought of sorrow
His laugh was hers just as the raindrops ache to the sky
