Excuse My Intruding
I don’t want to sound like I’m intruding,
But your sound brings a beat that makes my life sing,
It’s more then a fling
It’s an awakening of spring,
That wrings out the coldest winter and to me it releases its cling,
And it slings me from a thin string to a feeling that means something,
It’s A feeling with wings that make me feel everything,
But over anything please excuse my intrusion,
Because you’re matching personality with beauty isn’t a delusion,
I know you have herd this a million times,
But I bet for you a guy before me hasn’t written rhymes,
Yet I doubt that makes me stand out from the rest,
Please excuse me for intruding like a pest,
I really think you are the best and worth a try,
But will any more me will you believe and buy?
The joy you bring me justifies my intrusion well,
So every part of me to you I will sell,
Please don’t give me the Wall Street closing bell,
Although you may already know for you I fell,
But I’ll gather myself and roll up my sleeves,
Just will you let my intrusion slide please?
