The Days of Old
Time flows on
The days fly by
On Angel wings
And the cold night sky
All seems lost
But hope remains
A small child looks out a window frame
And wishes through the nights of blue
For in this quiet, silent hue
For someone to renew
The days of old
When she was told
Of grace and love
But now she’s just a pretty face
With a broken soul that nothing can replace
