Slipping into that state of being that is my only comfort.
Holding on to the memories of those that I once loved.
I heave my thoughts together all at once.
I plead the little imps that sit on my shoulder to kiss me into darkness.
To share their thoughts that keep me sane.
Keep me hollow.
Complete me so that I may sense him again,
I can still taste the bittersweet euphoria of distinct fear that comes like a high.
