Nowhere
I'm sitting here
Pouring out my life
Like blood from a wound
I'd tell you a story
But my mouth has a piece
of duct tape over it
My hands cupped like a vessel
waiting for the rain to fall
I yearn for the liquid
To come down
And wash my filth away
wash this guilt from my hands
I long to be clean one day
I would tell you a story
My story
but it's sad
It's a sad story about a girl
Who used to smile
But i can't
And it's okay
I don't mind
because it's like a freight train
headed for nowhere
I know what nowhere feels like
because i'm sitting there right now.
