Lovely Divorcee
Mania in my thoughts
My emotions uncontrolled
I can hear her divine song in the air
My disposition something lacking all pleasantries
She’s a new divorcee, divulging all the secrets of their love. Wouldn’t this make good reality tv?
She’s a rebel, a recalcitrant in all definitions.
Raucously putting down her laws.
But I’m a rule-breaker.
One night stands and Tv-Land, she has that good ole Southern Comfort, and the taste of cigarettes on her breath.
But I’m finding that I love her, and I’m learning that I’m wrong.
The mania is ebbing away, the twisted harmony of her song… is starting to feel like home.
