Sometimes
Sometimes....
when you smile
its not real
just make up
to hide your hurt
sometimes crying
is just a way of showing it
but somethings are
too painful to show with tears
sometimes
to sensitive for love
too painful
and scarring to go away
sometimes when you feel the pain
no one can react
because the smile you wear
protects them
from the ugly truth
but i see it
that pain in you eyes
the smile
on the brink of tears
i see
the way when
you think no one sees
you let a tear escape
but i see it
and it rips my heart to shreds
to see that in your eyes
i pains me to see
the way
you try and hide it
i know the makeup you where
i know the sorrow you feel
because
if you look in my eyes
you see it too...
i see the sorrow
in everyone
i see the way you try and hide it
the way you say:
"you have no idea what i'm going through"
then you storm off
and in those breif moments
of stun
i whisper:
"yes... i do"
and a tear escapes
or two
i feel the cold
of those gone
and the heat
of those enraged
i just can't bare it
that you mirror my reflection
and
that
is
something
you
should
never
have
to
go
through
