Earthquake
When will it stop?
The floors start to tremble and move on their own.
“Mom!” I yell, desperately.
When will it stop?
We climbed underneath the dinner table.
Books fall off their shelves and glasses clang.
When will it stop?
The shaking became more intense.
We huddled together and prayed.
It stopped.
The violent shaking subsided.
We crawl out from under the table.
Looking out the window, we see the damage that was done.
