whale washed ashore 

stench, possibility

concern, responsibility

carcass = boulder, f(x) dynamite, they decided 


erupted 

column of whale 

chunks flew 

screams of “run!” 

large pieces soaring 

blast blasted blubber 

beyond believable bounds


syndicated abridged story 

outrage peppering 

viral caution: 

bury dead beached whales in the sand
