Society
Society is cruel.
When you go out not looking your best,
you don’t fit society’s “beauty standard,”
so, you get hateful comments and laughed at.
When you go out looking good and feeling confident,
you get told by society that you’re trying too hard,
or that you’re doing too much.
When you go out expressing yourself in any type of way,
you get mocked by society and laughed at,
all because you’re “different” and you stand out.
Nothing is ever good enough for society.
