Until I see you again Grandpa Andrew
I think of you every day.
There hasn't been a day in the last four years,
Where your voice hasn't run through my head.
What I'd give to hear a new sentence.
Whenever I feel low,
I find myself talking to you.
Wishing you were here to give me some advice,
Give me anything that I could hold onto.
All I have are memories.
Every day for three very long years,
I have missed you.
I learned how to cope,
How to make it through the days without breaking. But strength is just there in place of the pain,
All that I've felt since you left this earth.
I celebrate your life,
Acknowledging the impact you had,
And my responsibility to make sure that you're never gone.
Your memory will remain for as long as I'm breathing,
Your presence will be felt whenever I speak of you.
I will treat people with the respect and love you did, So that knowing me becomes equivalent to knowing you.I miss you,
And I pray that a day comes that I see you again. Until then:
I loved you then, I love you now, and I will love you forever.
