A Sorrowful Beach Day
As I inhale at the beach,
As the waves hit my feet.
I sit back on the sand,
And I think of you.
I remember our times on the pier,
Where we’d laugh, drink, and cheer.
Now I just sit back on the sand,
And think of you.
This poem is from a paint chip poetry activity we did in my creative writing class. When I talked to my teacher about this she had suggested this piece to submit.
