Why, Universe?
Dear universe,
Why?
Why do you come with so many unanswered questions?
You make people feel like they have no reason to living.
Why can’t you just tell us the meaning of life?
Was I ever meant to dance?
Or is that just something I do,
To pass the time that it takes for me to solve your riddle?
Why?
Why do you have to constantly be turning and moving?
Why can’t you make time go a little slower?
Just to give a little more time for us to breathe.
Why do you have to make the days short and the nights fast?
Why?
Why do you show me all the stars every night?
Why, when you know I could never reach them,
Do you hold them over my head
like a steak over a starving dog?
Why can’t you bend for me,
and for just a moment revolve around me.
