Smile
“Say Cheese,” they say, just smile for the picture
The days I continued to hear the word “smile”
Was not worth my time
The day was especially long with the fake beam I admitted
The pearly whites on the outside hid darkness within
And I continued to ponder this lying sin
I smile big to keep up the act
But even actors have to retake the scene
But when it comes to actors, there not hiding my feelings
My worth was dwindling it was shrinking to nothing more than a dime
I soon realize that I will die in due time
And when that time comes I can be relieved
Of the one thing I did the most, deceive
